BANGLADESH, Dhaka, 21st November 2019 - Apurba’s Software Engineer A.K.M. Shahariar Azad Rabby will be presenting a paper titled “Countries Condition of Forestation and Trees Percentage using Machine learning” at the 8th International Conference on System Modeling & Advancement in Research Trends (SMART), India. This conference is organized by Teerthanker Mahaveer University, Moradabad in technical co-sponsorship with IEEE Uttar Pradesh Section during 22-23rd November 2019.

This paper produces a Machine Learning model that can forecast forestation and tress percentage for some countries. It uses logistic regression, SVM and Naive Bayes algorithms to compare accuracy through a collection of mixed data from countries including total population, average trees percentage, total forestation land and deforestation. The results show the state of deforestation in different countries which they can use to take necessary step to better manage forestation for their countries.

The 8th International Conference on System Modeling & Advancement in Research Trends (SMART) will bring together leading researchers, engineers and scientists in the domain of interest from around the world by providing a platform to present new advances and research results in the fields of Computational Sciences, system modeling and computer science.
